遼寧省人民醫院是遼寧省衛生計生委直屬的綜合性三級甲等醫院，為遼寧省中部區域醫療中心。醫院占地面積7.2萬㎡，總建筑面積16.7萬㎡，編制床位1788張，員工2256人。醫院內設職能部門26個，臨床醫技科室47個，心血管內科、神經內科、骨科、消化內鏡中心是醫院四大優勢學科,主辦國家核心期刊《中國美容整形外科雜志》。 　　遼寧省人民醫院創建于1949年，始稱東北工人醫院，是全國第一所工人醫院。2015年遼寧省人民醫院榮獲“全國文明單位”。2016年醫院制定“十三五發展規劃”即五大戰略：通過JCI認證，打造現代化管理型醫院；跨越式提升醫院信息化建設；打造省內一流的“五位一體”急診急救體系；實施“十百千”人才工程；培育“四梁八柱”的學科體系。目標是“用一流的技術標準，一流的質量安全，建設國內一流的現代化管理型醫院”。 2017年6月，通過世界衛生組織(WHO)認可的JCI認證，成為東北首家JCI認證醫院。 　　“一切以病人為中心”、 “患者至上”的理念一直影響著遼寧省人民醫院的文化建設與經營戰略。“全心全意為人民的健康服務”是遼寧省人民醫院的宗旨；“仁愛、奉獻、專業、擔當”是醫院的精神；“患者心中的品牌，員工樂業的醫院”是醫院的愿景；選擇JCI認證是踐行這一理念。 　　The People’s Hospital of Liaoning Province, an all-around Third-level First-class hospital, is directly subordinate to Health and Family Planning Commission of Liaoning Province, and it is also taken as the medical center of central area of Liaoning province. The hospital covers an area of 72 thousand square meters with a total construction area of 167 thousand square meters, 1788 authorized beds and 2256 staff. The hospital has 26 administrative departments and 47 clinical and medical technology departments. Cardiovascular medicine, neurology, orthopedics and GI endoscope are hospital’s four preponderant disciplines. Our hospital also hosts national core journal—Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery. 　　The People’s Hospital of Liaoning Province which originally named Northeastern Workers’ Hospital which is our country’s first workers’ hospital was set up in 1949. In 2015, The people’s Hospital of Liaoning Province was awarded as “National Civilized Unit”. In 2016, the hospital mapped out “The 13th Five-Year plan”, that is “Five Major Strategies”. Ⅰ.Get JCI Accreditation and forge a modern managed hospital.Ⅱ.Realize hospital information construction’s leap-type promotion.Ⅲ.Make a first-class “Five In One” emergency system in Liaoning province.Ⅳ.Implement “Ten, Hundred, Thousand” talent project.Ⅴ.Build “Multiple Pillars” discipline system. The target of the hospital is “Using first-class technology and standard, first-class quality and safety to build a first-class modern managed hospital in nation”. In June 2017, the hospital got JCI accreditation which authorized by WHO and became the first JCI accreditation hospital in Northeastern China. 　　The concepts of “Always take the patients as the center” and “Patient First” have affected the cultural construction and operation strategy of The People’s Hospital of Liaoning Province all the time.
